Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is in full swing at Frenchtown and we'd like to give a huge shoutout to the Hospitality Committee for all of their hard work. Today, the teachers and staff are being treated to a catered lunch from Cilantro and margaritas (virgin, of course!).

Big thanks to Renee Ludwig for organizing this great treat, as well as the back massages teachers got to enjoy on Monday!

And the staff are also being celebrated with special door decorations this morning, thanks to Monique Rosiello and Katie Erickson. 

Tomorrow is Grab 'N Go Snack Day so if you signed up to contribute, please remember to send it with your child in the morning!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Thank you to the Hospitality Committee led by Donnah Plante, all of the volunteers and everyone who contributed to make Teacher Appreciation Week such a success last week! The Frenchtown staff really enjoyed the treats and gifts they received.

Teacher Appreciation Week Is Coming

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8, and the PTG would like to thank the educators who support our children all year long.  Please consider donating to this week long celebration.  There are approximately 50 staff members. Here's the schedule for the week:

Monday: Savory snacks in the teachers' lounge
Tuesday: Cinco de Mayo luncheon
Wednesday: Mrs. Vaughn provides breakfast to the teachers
Thursday: Sweet treats in the lounge
Friday: Teacher gifts distributed

Donations and Volunteers Needed For Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week

May 4th-8th is Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week and the PTG Hospitality Committee needs your help to celebrate the Frenchtown men and women who work so hard for our kids.

Please consider volunteering your time or donating something to make their week extra special. Here's what we're looking for:

Monday, May 4th: Easy snacks (think bagged pretzels, cut up veggies and fruit, cheese and crackers, etc.)

Tuesday, May 5th: Water and blender drinks (we'll need water, mixes for the drinks, volunteers to make them as well as blenders we can borrow for the day)

Thursday, May 7th: Desserts (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, fruit, etc.)

Lucky Day for Frenchtown Teachers

St. Patrick's Day was especially lucky for teachers at Frenchtown today - they each received 13 raffle tickets to enter a raffle for fabulous gifts donated by Frenchtown parents and local businesses including Brewed Awakenings in Wawick, Sweet Twist, 1149 Restaurant and PC Basketball Coach Ed Cooley.

Thank you so much to Donnah Plante and the PTG Hospitality team for putting together this wonderful teacher appreciation event.

Teacher Appreciation Donations Needed

The hospitality committee needs your help! We are hoping to do a teacher appreciation "raffle" at the end of February.  During this event, teachers will be given raffle tickets for the chance to win donated prizes such as gift cards, a basket of treats, a box of classroom supplies, etc.  We will be creative!

Please consider helping out by:
1) Asking local businesses for donations (we have a standard letter with tax ID that we can get to you)

2) If you are a local business, consider contributing

3) If you are not a local business but have something you'd like to donate for the raffle (i.e., school supplies, a gift card, an hour of volunteer time to a teacher, etc.), please let us know.

No contribution is too small!
